Slack

Receive governance alerts as Slack messages. Approval requests arrive with a direct link to the decision in the platform, so no request sits unnoticed.

Prerequisites

• Slack workspace with admin or app installation permission
• Desired channel for governance notifications

Setting Up the Connection

1. Navigate to Integration → Integrations in the dashboard
2. Click Connect on Slack
3. You will be redirected to Slack to authorize the app
4. Select the channel for governance notifications
5. The connection becomes active immediately

Approval Workflow via Slack

When a guardrail with "Human Approval" enforcement is triggered:

1. A message appears in the configured Slack channel
2. The message contains: agent name, action, risk assessment, the reason for the trigger, and a link to the approval in the platform
3. Authorized reviewers follow the link and approve or deny in the approval queue — in-message Approve/Deny buttons are on the roadmap and not yet available
4. The decision is stored in the audit trail; security-relevant outcomes are captured by the attestation rules
5. The agent is informed of the outcome and continues or cancels the action
