Prerequisites

  • Slack workspace with admin or app installation permission
  • Desired channel for governance notifications

Setting Up the Connection

  1. Navigate to Integration → Integrations in the dashboard
  2. Click Connect on Slack
  3. You will be redirected to Slack to authorize the app
  4. Select the channel for governance notifications
  5. The connection becomes active immediately

Approval Workflow via Slack

When a guardrail with "Human Approval" enforcement is triggered:

  1. An interactive message appears in the configured Slack channel
  2. The message contains: agent name, action, risk assessment, and the reason for the trigger
  3. Authorized reviewers can click Approve or Deny directly in Slack
  4. The decision is stored in the audit trail and optionally anchored on-chain
  5. The agent is informed of the outcome and continues or cancels the action
