Prerequisites
- Slack workspace with admin or app installation permission
- Desired channel for governance notifications
Setting Up the Connection
- Navigate to Integration → Integrations in the dashboard
- Click Connect on Slack
- You will be redirected to Slack to authorize the app
- Select the channel for governance notifications
- The connection becomes active immediately
Approval Workflow via Slack
When a guardrail with "Human Approval" enforcement is triggered:
- An interactive message appears in the configured Slack channel
- The message contains: agent name, action, risk assessment, and the reason for the trigger
- Authorized reviewers can click Approve or Deny directly in Slack
- The decision is stored in the audit trail and optionally anchored on-chain
- The agent is informed of the outcome and continues or cancels the action
