Configure multi-level approval chains and timeout handling
Multi-Level Approval Chains
For critical actions, you can configure multi-level approval chains. Each level requires a separate approval.
Example:
- Level 1: Team lead approves (configurable threshold)
- Level 2: CISO approves (higher configurable threshold)
- Level 3: CFO approves (no limit)
Configure Approval Chain
Configured in Agent Wizard Step 4 (responsibility chain) or in the Agent Drawer: Navigate to Responsibility Chain → Add Level → select approver and threshold.
Timeout Configuration
| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Timeout Duration | 24 hours | How long to wait for a decision |
| Fallback Action | Deny | What happens on timeout: Deny, Approve, or Escalate |
| Reminder | At 50% of timeout | Re-notification to the approver |
