Slack & Teams Approval Notifications
Receive approval requests in Slack or Microsoft Teams and decide them in the platform
Approval notifications in your messenger
When Slack or Microsoft Teams is connected as a dispatcher, approval requests reach you as messages — directly in your usual communication tool.
Slack
The message contains: agent name and type, the triggering policy, shortened context, and a link to the approval in the platform.
The decision itself is made in the platform — follow the link to the approval queue, review the full context, and approve or deny there. Decisions are recorded in the audit trail; security-relevant outcomes are captured by the attestation rules. In-message Approve/Deny buttons are on the roadmap and not yet available.
Microsoft Teams
The Teams message carries the same information as an Adaptive Card, plus the link to the approval in the dashboard. As with Slack, the decision is made in the platform.
Prerequisite
The respective platform must be connected under Integrations → Alerts & Approvals. See Connect Slack & Teams.
Why this matters: The notification reaches the reviewer wherever they are — no approval sits unnoticed until a timeout fires. The link takes them straight to the decision.
